I am always amazed at how underused a resource box really is. It can certainly make a difference with some readers on whether they will check out your site or not.

Also make certain to include emotional button words in your article box….something that will make the reader say, I HAVE to learn more.

You’ve hit the nail on the head here, Earl – your article should have just shown them you’re an expert in the field they’re interested in, so with a strong Author’s Resource Box there should be a strong pull to click through for more information…

And it’s important to keep in mind that targeting your article on high-interest keywords will often get it published on other people’s sites as well, giving your expertise and links that much more exposure.

Yes the resource box is the money shot as they would say. One tip is to have it seem a continuation of the article. Much better click thrus that way.

Hey, a great tip here. Article writing is a good way to get traffic to your web presence. But, writing a good article and capturing the readers interest will not help you if your resource/bio box does not compel the reader to click through to you site.

Great tips! The whole point of an article in an article directory is to drive traffic back to your site, so the resource box is very important, maybe the most important aspect of the article. Like you said, writing a good one is something that we need to make sure to learn to do properly.

The resource box is very important and should be written properly encourage the reader to click on your link. I like to look at other “expert publishers” to see how they do it – and get some good tips that way.
