Your first tip “Write first, and add keywords later” makes a lot of sense. Get good quality content first and then fit your keywords into that. Good advice. Thanks.

I think one and two can be done before posting/publishing. But the third one you should always do before posting/publishing.

I sometimes like to find a quiet spot where I can let my mind wander and see where it leads me. And then the realization sets in that I am at work. Boy, now that is a quiet time buster. But I do find myself coming up with great ideas when I least exppect it. Having a pen and paper near helps because if I do not get it down then I may not be able to phrase it like I had thought about before.

The title is what will get people to read the article in the first place, so you need to make sure it interesting, but also has your keyword in it.<div class="comment-remix-meta"><a href="#" class="replyto" onclick="replyto('73','Joel Osborne'); return false;">Reply</a> - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('73','Joel Osborne','Your third tip is very important.
Powerful & profitable info, Earl - thanks for sharing it!

One note about Point 3 - I keep a pad on my desk just for blog post ideas, and make note of a subject any time I think of a good one. If I don't have anything specific to blog about right then, I pick a subject and write the post. Sometimes the subject is a good title for it, while often a better title presents itself through the course of writing the article...

So if you're stuck for a title that contains your target keyword or keyword phrase and still creates enough interest to lead people to the article, go ahead and write what you want to say first, then read through it and pick an appropriate title from that.
